SNIAGRAB®, or bargains spelled backwards, is Sports Authority’s annual winter ski and snowboard gear and apparel sale, and celebrates 56 years this September. The event is always the Saturday before Labor Day (this year September 4) at 8 am.

The prices and deals are wild. People line up early, camp out the night before, and even fly in for the event. The quality of the product is great and the skier or boarder can outfit themselves from head to toe for a steal.

We want you to make a 30 second TV commercial to drive traffic to the sale. The takeaway message is:
1) Sports Authority has high-quality products at insanely low prices
2) This year, SNIAGRAB® is even bigger, better and more fun
3) SNIAGRAB® offers a better selection and better deals than any competitors.

Customers should take away a sense of urgency. They need to feel the buzz and know that the event is hip and updated, bigger and better, with high-quality products at wild prices.

Sports Authority will select a minimum of one video for purchase and its creator will receive a one-time payment of $10,000. In addition, five video producers will receive a total of $2,000 in Poptent’s “Editors’ Choice” awards.
