STIHL is the number one selling brand of gasoline powered handheld outdoor power equipment (grass trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and chain saws) in America. STIHL is number one in spite of NOT being sold at mass merchants like Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot or Lowes. Some see this as remarkable. A key point of difference is that STIHL dealers, unlike mass merchants, offer on-site product set-up and repair service. STIHL products are not sold “in a box.”

We’re looking now for a 30 second television commercial (and a :25/:05 version for local dealer tagging use).

The fundamental message takeaway for the viewer is that STIHL is NOT sold at the Big Box stores and is only available through servicing STIHL dealers. As a result of seeing this television commercial, the viewer should want to find his closest STIHL dealer.

STIHL will purchase at least one video for a one time fee of $5,000. Additional videos may also be purchased. In addition, Poptent will award five Editor’s Choice Awards totaling $2,000.
