Assignment Summary

On October 1, 2012, 5-hour ENERGY will launch its new pink lemonade flavor. Until December 31, 2012 a portion of each sale of Pink Lemonade 5-hour ENERGY will go to the Avon Foundation for Women Breast Cancer Crusade. 5-hour ENERGY has committed to a minimum donation of $75,000. However, our goal is to write a bigger check. The more Pink Lemonade 5-hour ENERGY we sell, the more we will give.


"How?" you ask. Simple. Create a compelling video that encourages people to buy new Pink Lemonade 5-hour ENERGY in order to support the cause.

Videos should be 30 to 60 seconds and will be used social channels and our microsite.

We are leaving it to the Poptent Community to determine the tone that will best communicate our messaging, but the kind of videos normally made for cause marketing are way too sniffy for our tastes. We are looking for something that resonates strongly without necessitating a box of tissues after viewing!

As always, make sure to read the creative brief and assignment guidelines for all the important details including how to request product samples. 5-Hour Energy will be purchasing at least TWO videos, so get creative and help us write a bigger check!
